Dear Tiger,
What's going on bro? It seems you have been the center of attention because of your infidelity. We all know what you did was wrong, but why come out this Friday with a public apology? We should have all expected an apology like months ago!! But who can blame you for coming out now publicly; you were pretty much in sex rehab (I never thought something like that is remotely possible; I rather have you just admit you were stupid instead of going to some type of expensive rehab or even marriage counseling) and trying to save your marriage. But in my honest opinion, nobody is perfect. We can go through a long list of famous political people and we can expose them for all the cheating they have done, especially the one in the men's bathroom stall. But I guess the world doesn't see it like that. You are still the number 1 golfer in the world, and still a threat to anybody on the golf course.
I'm still shock of how much slack you will get when you come out and apologize for your actions back in December '09. Should we judge you for your transgressions? Maybe that is something you should think about as you try to win the heart of your fans and your sponsors. But lets instead of them judging you because of your "cheating heart", lets look at what you have done for the community:
-The Tiger Woods Foundation - established in 1996; It focuses on projects for children. Initially these comprised golf clinics (aimed especially at disadvantaged children), and a grant program
- In the City Golf Clinic and Festivals - Since 1997, the Tiger Woods Foundation has conducted junior golf clinics across the country.
- Tiger Woods Learning Center - This is a 35,000-square-foot (3,300 m2) educational facility in Anaheim, California which opened in February 2006. It is expected to be used by several thousand students each year in grades 4 to 12. The center features seven classrooms, extensive multi-media facilities and an outdoor golf teaching area.
- Let's not forget the donations you gave to Haiti to help the victims of the earthquake.
As I said before that people won't look at it that way. So let me close this letter by telling you this; I know it was a mistake(a bone-headed mistake), and hopefully it won't happen again. And before the public goes "Tiger-Bashing" Friday, say this: "He that is without sin, cast the first stone."
With Love
Mannie
